Looks different in person than in the photo., January 4, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Perry Ellis, Sweet Bay Collection Duvet Set, Full/Queen (Kitchen) I was very disappointed when this package arrived. I really liked the vibrant greens and blue against the smooth brown and thought it would go perfect with my bedroom setup. Unfortunately, the colors are much more dull in reality. It literally looks like it's been washed 100 times. I photographed it myself, and the picture came out looking just as good as the one online so it must be a very photogenic duvet set :) I still really like the pattern. Just wish the colors were true to the photo.
Besides the color fail, it was really rough. I slept with it one night and had to switch blankets in the middle of the night before I could actually sleep well. My mom really liked it so I gave it to her. But she tends to like anything that she doesn't have to pay for.
All in all, I should have listened to the reviews that said the same thing before I purchased this. I'll never buy bedding online again.

My only disappointment was it seem the brown background faded a bit after the initial washing. It became a bit muted and did not see as sharp and vibrant as when I took it out of the package.

Looks as if it is 10yrs old and has been washed over and over. It took me weeks of looking online at duvets to find 'just the right one'. What a mistake. I will no longer be buying linens online.
